The Northwest Zone Basketball Association was created in 2012 when the community programs of Wellington, Aldergrove, Willowby, Parkview and Glenora joined forces to form one collective zone basketball program.
Northwest Basketball not only serves youth in these founding Northwest communities but also offers a variety of recreational and competitive basketball opportunities for youth (age 5-18) in all of Northwest Edmonton. All Northwest youth teams (except Mites Category), play league games as part of the Edmonton Youth Basketball Association (EYBA).
